Michael Rosenfeld is an international e-commerce entrepreneur, Amazon Private Label operator, and business mentor with more than eight years of hands-on experience building, operating, and scaling brands on Amazon.
Unlike traditional consultants who advise businesses from the outside, Michael remains an active Amazon seller and operator. Together with his team, he manages a portfolio of private-label brands generating more than €1 million in monthly revenue, with over 600 active products across 16 international markets.
Throughout his Amazon career, Michael and his team have launched more than 1,000 products, built four private-label brands, developed international supply chains, and expanded across Europe, North America, the United Kingdom, Japan, and the United Arab Emirates.
His expertise comes from building and operating real businesses — not from theory.

From a kitchen table to an international Amazon business
Michael's Amazon journey started in 2017. There were no investors, established supplier relationships, large teams, or sophisticated infrastructure behind the business. The first product ideas were researched from home, supplier conversations were handled personally, and the first operational systems were built from scratch.
The first attempts were not immediate successes: failed product launches, incorrect niche selection, supplier problems, insufficient margins — many of the same challenges new Amazon sellers face today. Instead of abandoning the idea, the team analyzed each failure, improved the process, and tried again.
The third attempt became the breakthrough. Better product selection, direct supplier relationships, improved listings, and stronger unit economics transformed an experiment into a profitable e-commerce business. From there, the company began to scale.
Building the supply chain from the ground up
Starting in 2018, Michael began traveling directly to manufacturing regions and building relationships with factories instead of relying exclusively on agents and online sourcing platforms. Over the following years, the company developed an international sourcing network with manufacturing partners across China, India, Indonesia, Poland, the United States, and Africa.
His approach to Amazon Private Label is not limited to finding a product and creating a listing. It covers the entire business model:
Product → Manufacturer → Supply chain → Logistics → Amazon → Advertising → Inventory → Cash flow → International expansion
Michael and his team have worked with both conventional and operationally complex product categories, giving them practical experience with sourcing, certification, packaging, quality control, logistics, FBA requirements, marketplace restrictions, and international expansion.
1,000+ product launches
One of the biggest advantages of Michael's experience is volume. With more than 1,000 product launches, his knowledge comes not from a handful of successful cases but from repeatedly testing products, markets, suppliers, pricing strategies, listings, advertising structures, and launch approaches.
Some products succeeded. Some failed. Some required repositioning, new suppliers, better economics, improved packaging, different advertising strategies, or completely different market approaches. Those experiences created a practical operating system for identifying opportunities, reducing unnecessary mistakes, and scaling successful products.
Building brands, not just Amazon listings
Michael's philosophy is centered around building sustainable private-label businesses rather than chasing individual winning products. Today, Michael and his team operate four private-label brands. One of them grew from a simple product idea into what Michael describes as the largest hookah brand on Amazon globally, reaching more than 2,000 orders per day — and the business has expanded beyond its original Amazon marketplace into a global operation.
The objective is not simply to sell products on Amazon. The objective is to build an asset — a brand, supply chain, operational system, and customer base that can grow over the long term.
International Amazon experience
Michael's businesses currently operate across 16 countries. His marketplace experience includes:
- North America — Amazon USA and Canada
- Europe — Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, Belgium, and the United Kingdom
- Asia and the Middle East — Japan and the United Arab Emirates
- plus additional international markets
International expansion involves much more than translating a listing. It requires understanding local demand, taxation and VAT, logistics, inventory allocation, local competition, advertising economics, product compliance, marketplace-specific requirements, and cash-flow implications. Michael and his team have worked through these challenges inside their own businesses.
More than Amazon PPC
Michael approaches Amazon as an entire business ecosystem. His expertise covers:
- Product research & development — finding opportunities, validating demand, analyzing competition, developing differentiated products, and creating a real customer-facing USP.
- Global sourcing — finding and negotiating with manufacturers across China, India, Indonesia, Europe, the United States, and other sourcing regions.
- Supply chain & FBA logistics — managing the complete journey from factory to Amazon fulfillment centers while controlling lead times, inventory levels, logistics costs, and stock availability.
- Amazon PPC & ranking — advertising structures designed to support product launches, keyword ranking, organic visibility, and profitable long-term growth.
- Inventory & forecasting — planning purchasing cycles and inventory requirements to reduce both stockouts and excessive capital tied up in inventory.
- Finance & cash flow — understanding how inventory, advertising, logistics, marketplace expansion, and growth affect the financial structure of an Amazon business.
- Marketplace expansion — taking successful products and brands from one country into Europe, the United States, Canada, Japan, the United Kingdom, the UAE, and other international markets.
- Processes & automation — building SOPs, systems, tools, reporting structures, and automation that allow an Amazon business to operate efficiently as it grows.
- Team building — recruiting, training, and managing virtual assistants, specialists, and employees as the organization expands.
An operator, not just a consultant
Michael's positioning is based on a simple principle: if you advise Amazon sellers, you should still understand what it means to be an Amazon seller today.
Michael and his team continue to develop products, work with manufacturers, manage inventory, operate listings, run advertising, launch into new marketplaces, and deal with the daily challenges of international e-commerce. The strategies they use with clients come from processes currently being used inside their own businesses — knowledge continuously tested against the market rather than based on strategies that worked several years ago.
MAD Conference
Michael is also a co-founder of MAD Conference, an annual event bringing together experienced Amazon and marketplace entrepreneurs in Europe. The conference was created around the same philosophy Michael applies to consulting: giving the stage to entrepreneurs and operators who are actively building businesses rather than simply teaching them.
MAD Conference has been running for four years and brings together sellers and marketplace entrepreneurs with significant combined e-commerce revenue. Michael also regularly shares his experience as a speaker within the international Amazon seller community.
From experience to execution
After eight years of operating internationally, Michael's work today is focused on transferring the systems, processes, supplier relationships, and lessons developed inside his own businesses to other Amazon entrepreneurs. His work ranges from strategic consulting and mentoring to complete operational support, covering:
- Private Label strategy
- Product development
- Sourcing
- Supply chain
- Amazon operations
- Listings & content
- PPC
- Inventory management
- Financial planning
- International expansion
- Team building
- Automation & processes
The objective is not simply to provide advice. It is to help entrepreneurs make better decisions and build Amazon businesses that are profitable, scalable, internationally competitive, and operationally sustainable.
The philosophy
Michael believes that sustainable Amazon businesses are built through execution, not shortcuts. There is no single PPC trick, product research tool, or launch strategy that creates a successful international brand. The advantage comes from combining better products, better sourcing, better economics, better operations, better marketing, and better systems — and then improving those components continuously.
After more than 1,000 product launches, hundreds of active products, multiple brands, and expansion into 16 countries, Michael and his team continue to operate according to the same principle:
We don't just talk about Amazon. We operate on Amazon every day.
